Hello Spring

As you know on March 21st, we officially welcomed the arrival of the 2016 Spring season. Spring is one of our favorite times of the year because we get to be more outdoors, thanks in part to pleasant weather which of course is better to take pictures lol. Despite the occasionally chilly nights, Spring is a time for transitions and wardrobe overhaul and in this post, we both took a chance to acknowledged the fall and welcome the Spring...enjoy!!!

Rosanna: If something was evident last September, was the spring would use pastels colors and "customized" fashion items such as patches, prints and paintings on garments. This fad/trend was seen on many of the premiere shows last year and it puts some of the creativity on the end consumer which, in our opinion is a good idea because all of us have our own unique "brand". Today Rosanna decided to take these two trends to begin one of the most anticipated seasons of the year and create an ensemble where custom garments met the hues of the season with out disturbing each other. Rosanna wanted to emphasize her love for serenity blue and it's versatility for clothing overall.

TIP - This color can be used on garments as well as in complementary fashion items. Interestingly enough, this combination used Autumn pieces like the leather skirt to combine two seasons and ultimately create a true custom outfit where not only is evident that trends can be mixed but also can be re-used.

Winston: The male palette will always have a lighter chroma than those of females. Perhaps this is due to the formality of men in general or the lack of risk. Today I wanted to focus on a must piece of the male wardrobe - the White Blazer. This fashion staple is equally important as to the black version. This item serves it's purpose well because it looks well for all occasions or events. If a Man wears a white blazer, it instantly gives it 180 degrees to their overall look. Here for this post, I showed how one can combine two colors from the fall like the brown and navy and use it during the Spring without looking too dark. The trick here is to wear a white blazer to bring life to the dark hues in your outfit and thus balancing your total look.

Tip - when buying dress pants ALWAYS take them to get tailored to ultimately fit you best!. Furthermore, every Gentleman's wardrobe needs a classic fashion piece such as a white blazer, remember that it can be used in any season. Additionally, I suggest to get it in a mixed fabric so it won't punish your body if is too cold or warm.

At the end, remember that the important thing is the personal interpretation of each trend and always have fun with it. If you decide to enhance a fashion piece, we suggest patches or phrases in different material and colors. Remember that in diversity there is plenty of wealth. For the Gentlemen, try adding foundation pieces to your wardrobe, this will ultimately ensure a good starting point to create your Dapper looks.

EVERY OUTFIT YOU WEAR TELLS A STORY...WHAT'S YOUR STORY.
